DOCKS, PIERS AND MARINE CONSTRUCTION

During "Sandy" the piers and docks we built "our way" for rough water installations survived. Most of our competitors' did not. The way we scribe around the pilings, router the edges and screws, and bolt all components make our docks the most durable in the town. Our docks and piers also have a nice "finished" look when we're done.

The bulkhead we did recently on 120th St. in Ocean City, MD brought praise from Ocean City Port Wardens. They stated, "We wish every bulkhead in OC looked that nice." We covered the vinyl bulkhead with AZEK and equipped it with subtle lighting.

Putting stringers on the ground in this market does not work. Most of the coastline's soil is fill dirt and is not stable. We use concrete footers every 6 1/2' with 4x4 lumber with rebar. We love the AZEK PVC Polymer Decking with the stainless steel clip system. No screws are seen. You end up with a clean, finished deck that you can be proud of and will be the envy of all your neighbors.

The Slidemoor docking system is a great system where you don't have outboard pilings to secure the boat safely. Also secures your boat much better than whip lines. Allows the boat to move freely up and down with tides and waves.
